Day 6- Legoland

We were all so excited to go to Legoland that it was hard to sleep the night before our visit. Nana was like a little kid in a candy store and very anxious to get there. Legoland was fabtabulous!! There was so many colors, so many legos, lots of rides, and so much to see. Auntie Brenda got herself a green lego key chain. We all love legos!!!!
 A wall of legos...

Legoland is celebrating the fall season with these cute lego pumpkins throughout the park.

Nana driving through the safari with "no hands". Ha ha!!

Nana loved the bread sticks at the pizzeria.

We saw so many beautiful flowers, trees, and plants in Legoland. Papa was very impressed with all the various kinds of them. Many we had not seen before (exotic plants) and the smells were glorious.

A car made out of legos...wow!!

Papa and Auntie raced these other fire fighters and police officers to help put out the fire. It was really hard to make the vehicles move. Papa and Auntie had to work as as team to move the lever forward and to pump the handles to get the vehicle to move (like an old railroad car). Then we had to race out of the vehicle and hose down the fire (Papa got a little confused about this part). Finally we had to race back to the vehicle and move it back to the finish line. We came in second place. Yea!!
 Papa and this fella plumber...
 Space Needle legos...too cool.

 Nana the mummy...

Auntie Brenda thought this was the BEST ride in the park. We got to splash other pirate ships and the poor souls standing too close to shore. Argghhh Matey!! The fellows in this ship were are pirate enemies and we got them a few times with our water gun.
Auntie with her Star Wars friends...

Auntie Brenda got these delicious fried apples. YUM YUM!!

We were amazed by all of the lego creations in the park. This "Albert Einstein" creation was one of the first large scale models in the park. It was made with over a million standard lego bricks.
Our last ride was this boat tour. We saw "Elsie" the elephant, Mount Rushmore with a canoe that had crashed into it, and the tiny lego town. We loved our visit to Legoland and had a very fun time.
